Further Education
The need to specialize initially and later to generalize is a necessary part and path in the advancement of one's career. The Institute recognizes it and is constantly talking to and negotiating with institutions of higher learning both within Malaysia and outside Malaysia to provide members with such an avenue for advancement.
The Institute has secured recognition of its qualification from the following universities to enable its members to further their education:-
Full members who have completed the qualifying examination (Final) will be considered for entry onto the following post graduate degrees:-
- MBA (master of Business Administration
- MBA in Small Business Management
- MA Human Resource Management
Members who have completed up to the Pre-final stage of the qualifying examination will be considered for direct admission onto the following final year degrees:-
- BA (Honours) Accountancy
- BA (Honours) Business Studies
Full members who have completed the qualifying examination (Final) will be considered for entry onto the Aberdeen Business School's AMBA accredited MBA programme.
The University of Buckingham Business School recognize ICIA qualifications for entry into the following Masters Programmes:-
- MBA
- MSc Service Management
- MSc Accounting and Finance
- MSc International Marketing Management
- MSc Business in Society
KMDC (KDU Management Development Centre Sdn. Bhd.) in collaboration with Middlesex University of United Kingdom offers members an opportunity to pursue a course of study leading to qualifications at masters (MA or MSc) level that focuses on identifying and recognizing learning gained from work.
